As an “About”-page is nearly obligatory, I will provide you with one.

My name is Oswald Reichel and I currently live in Wels, Austria. I am born in May 1991 and I am currently finishing my school. After school I will be studying Computer Science and Philosophy, two topics I am really interested. I always had a strong relationship with computers, because my brothers thaught me the basics of programming -at that time in QBASIC- while I was still in elementary school.

My blog will cover a wide range of topics, nearly everything I will come across and seems at least a little bit interesting. My focus surely lies on computer-connected topics. I will present some HowTo’s on how I manage to keep my laptop -a ThinkPad X61s with Gentoo Linux- under control. Beside writing HowTo’s a big part will just be comments on News I read on the internet every day. For the philosophical part, I don’t know exactly about what I will write, the posts will have their inspiration in things in my life, that get me thinking.

Because german is my mothers tongue, some articles will be in german and maybe some will be available in english and german. This are the only languages I currently can speak and write -besides latin, which is not a real language anyway!

In the future I will introduce some (programming) projects. At school I learn Java and I have taken peaks into C++ and Ruby, so this are the languages I program and create and maybe even publish projects.
